Experience
Extreme Panels has been manufacturing SIPs for ten years. We are a family-owned business located in Cottonwood in southwest Minnesota about fifteen miles north of Marshall.

"Within the past few years, all of the salesmen at Extreme Panel have built their own homes out of SIPs. By going through the entire building process, we have the knowledge and expertise to assist our customers with the issues that arise during construction." We know how important it is to get help when you need it, not a couple of days later. We firmly believe in our product because of our own personal experiences in building our homes."

We manufacture wall and roof panels consisting of 7/16" OSB on both sides with expanded polystyrene in the middle. We also manufacture foundation panels consisting of 5/8" treated plywood with expanded polystyrene in the middle.   One-Stop Shopping
Once you have your plan, we can give you an estimate on as much or as little of the job as you want. We will estimate the foundation, floor, walls, ridge beams, roof panels or rafters, plus the miscellaneous materials - everything that's needed to complete the structural shell.

  Service

We take pride in providing the highest quality panels together with the best service available. We will work with you from the day you bring us your plan until you glue and screw the last panel. If required, we'll work with your building code officials providing them all the information necessary to grant you a building permit. We have ICBO and NER code approvals and are third-party monitored.

Once you have finalized your plan, we will give you a free estimate breaking down each section (foundation, walls, and roof) so you know what each section will cost. We will also itemize the miscellaneous materials (screws, adhesive, expandable foam, splines, top and bottom plates) so you will know exactly what is needed for each section. Then, if you decide you would like to get your lumber locally, you can do that. We can pre-cut all of the window and door openings at the plant or you can do them at the jobsite. If needed, we will install the headers over the doors and windows also.

  Terms
When the contract is signed, we require a down payment of 1/3 of the total cost. The balance is due when the panels are delivered or picked up.

  Freight
We have our own semi to deliver your panels. We also have a forklift that fits on the back of the semi so you don't have to worry about having one on site to unload the panels.
